The story of our company tells about a family that takes root in the travertine of Rapolano. It tells about efforts and passion of Ottavio Vaselli, forefather of the family, born in 1899, first spinner and then loom worker, who dedicated his life to the manifacture of stone in quarries of Rapolano, passing down to his son Veraldo this passion.

VERALDO VASELLI

Ottavio’s son, Veraldo, born in 1931, is the worthy successor of his father in keeping the link between the Vasellis and the territoy and the stont culture developing in here.
After the chiseller education and the experience as apprentice in work-shop, he started the career of carver. His professional qualities connected to the innate talent for design made him a landmark character in that background, for his ability in resolving the hardest design needs through clever solutions. These peculiar own qualities, improved by experience, made him an interpreter of the stone internationally esteemed, called to take part to the realization of important architectural works, in Italy and abroad.

DANILO, CINZIA, DAVID VASELLI

The third generation Vaselli sees Cinzia, Danilo and David leading the evolution – in production and design – of the precious artisanalcfamily tradition. A more than 3000 square meters establishment in the travertine district, advanced technologies, qualified workforces able to work with inspiration and competence, where the machine cannot arrive. The company projects its goals on international competitive scenaries, relying on a strong vocation to the quality of the product and service. Today, as a century ago, moving from Rapolano Terme, in the province of Siena, the hearth of Tuscany.

The brand Vaselli is already in the biggest international markets, even if it still linked to its own territory, Rapolano Terme, productive district in the sienese province, known for the presence of calcareous water, which throughout the years has been giving birth to a limitless stone heritage.
