One of the Travertines from the extractive basin of Rapolano.
Sedimentary stone with a great range of colors, with a soft bottom and yellow-golden spots (sometimes copper and/or brown). It is porous with vacuoles, whose dimensions can vary and that are generally covered with beige-ivory or beige-golden calcite crystals.
Thanks to the excellent technical and mechanical features anh thanks to the fact that it is antifreeze, it can be used both indoor and outdoor. With specific finishes, it is usable even in places where the adoption of antislip surfaces, such as external pavements, swimming-pools and bathrooms, is necessary.
The Becagli Travertine, like the other Travertines of Rapolano, has been used to realize architectural works of major importance, such as the ticket office in the Central Station of Milan.
