The Listone Giordano Arena, designed by Michele De Lucchi, is a space for growth and debate.
It is located in Via Santa Cecilia in Milan, in a historical building was overlooking the canal, with arcades facing Via San Damiano. A place already used to the exchange and conception of new ideas, as in the past it hosted Penna D’Oca, the restaurant designed by Gio Ponti, where Cucina Futurista was conceived in the 1930s.
This makes the Arena an authentic space, much more than just a showroom, a place designed to fully enjoy the Vaselli experience and share the emotions that guide projects and ideas in absolute tranquillity, away from pressing commercial dynamics.
The relationship with the architect, designer or client is direct and personal, aimed not just at understanding needs and requirements but also at exchanging experiences and knowledge, creating stimulations that come to life in unexpected forms.
The Arena is the perfect creativity hub.
Defining the Arena simply a concept store is limiting. It should be described as the ideal place to explore the way of thinking and philosophy that drives the Vaselli world. A world made of tradition, craftsmanship, innovation and technology, but especially a world driven by the passion of those who work every day in the heart of Tuscany, in Rapolano.
Passion and sense of belonging clearly characterize the items on display, each one with its own well-defined identity. From kitchen and bathroom to the living room, they all need the right space to express themselves, and the Arena is the perfect space.
Also the partners are perfect. Listone Giordano, promoter of this collaboration and a point of reference for parquets in Italy and around the world, and Blueside, glass experts with the ability to create unique and unexpected shapes and functionalities.
Both have a lot in common with us. The family dimension, the affinity for their land – they are based in Umbria the region bordering Tuscany – and the passion for their work, creates that sense of harmony that can clearly be perceived inside the Arena.
Natural materials are the guideline. Stone and wood interact perfectly embracing each other.
Thanks to the authentic nature and synergy of this partnership, the space comes to life with products that will be displayed in turns and a calendar rich with events to share cultural identity equally – whether in the form of art, design, architecture or food – through dialogue and readings.
