Quite fine grain, red with red-yellowish or rose nodules which can reach a centimetre of diameter. Compact, with rare surface porosity.
Used for floors above all, a classical coupling is with Pearl Withe in check-decorated floor, also often old-looking.
Besides its usual employs (flooring, covering and decorating), the versatility of this marble makes it suitable for many.
There are many pieces of work realized with thi marble in and around Verona: the external ring of the Arena, Porte Romane and the staircase of Palazzo della Ragione.
