Quarried nearby the homonymous tuscan town in the province of Lucca.
It is a sandstone and so rather regular, gray that verges on blue e often cressed by matching shades. Its structure is compact and strong.
Thanks to its optimal physical and mechanical features, to its resistance to degrading action of the atmosferic agents and to its good elasticity the sandstone is particularly suitable for external manifactures. It doesn’t present any contra-indication with other types of manifactures.
